Article 1. Organizer :
CAR2EUROPE, a brand of Automobiles Peugeot, a public limited company with a capital of €172,771,770, whose head office is located at 45 rue Jean Pierre Timbaud - Mailbox: PY03/05 - 78300 POISSY, registered in the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number 552 144 503 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), is organizing a contest with a purchase obligation (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") allowing participants to win the prizes designated in Article 6 below.
Article 2. Eligibility:
The Contest is open to individuals aged 18 and over, residing outside the European Union, who have booked at least one CAR2EUROPE vehicle through CAR2EUROPE or its agents, excluding:
- CAR2EUROPE staff members, and more generally those of the STELLANTIS Group,
- Staff members of companies directly or indirectly involved in the organization of the Contest,
- Spouses and family members of the aforementioned company staff.
Participation in the Contest automatically and expressly implies acceptance without reservation by the participant of (i) these rules, (ii) the ethical rules in force on the Internet (code of conduct…), and (iv) the laws and regulations in force in France, particularly those applicable to games. Consequently, failure to comply with these rules, including the participation requirements, any incomplete or erroneous form, contrary to public order or good morals, or validated after the end of the Contest, or the violation of the aforementioned provisions will result in the invalidation of the participant's entry.
Article 3. Contest Duration:
The Contest will begin on 07/15/2024 at 12:00 PM Paris time and will end on 09/14/2024 at 11:59 AM Paris time. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
CAR2EUROPE reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, or cancel the Contest in case of force majeure or if circumstances beyond CAR2EUROPE's control require it, without liability.
Article 4. Participation Conditions:
To participate in the Contest, each participant may:
- Follow Car2Europe on Facebook (optional) / Instagram (optional)
- Like the contest post on Facebook (optional) / Instagram (optional)
- Share the contest post on Facebook (optional) / Instagram (optional)
- Comment on the contest post on Facebook (optional) / Instagram (optional) by indicating your vacation destination for this summer.
- Add a photo of your vehicle showing the red license plate on Facebook (optional) / on Instagram (optional).
The three winners will be notified of their prize via messenger on their Facebook profile or via Instagram depending on their participation medium.
Incomplete, illegible entries, or those not meeting eligibility criteria will be excluded.
Note: Facebook and Instagram disclaim any liability in the event of a dispute and are not involved in the organization or promotion of this Contest.
Article 5. Winner Selection:
- The three winners will be selected by a random draw from the eligible participants.
- To be eligible for the draw, they must have complied with the participation conditions indicated in Article 4.
- If a winner does not respond within 15 days after being notified, their prize will be considered forfeited, and another winner may be selected.
Article 6. Prizes:
The prizes to be won are:
- 1st Prize: A €250 voucher for a future vehicle order from Car2Europe.
- 2nd Prize: A €150 voucher for a future vehicle order from Car2Europe.
- 3rd Prize: A €100 voucher for a future vehicle order from Car2Europe.
The aforementioned prizes cannot be contested by the winners, nor exchanged for their monetary value, nor modified, replaced, or exchanged for any reason. If circumstances require, CAR2EUROPE reserves the right to replace the offered prize with other prizes of equivalent nature and/or value.
Article 7. Use of Personal Data:
7.1 What is the purpose of processing your personal data by CAR2EUROPE and what is the legal basis for this processing?**
a. Registration data required for the execution of the Contest.
To participate in the Contest, you must necessarily provide certain personal information (hereinafter “Data”):
- Your email address, name, first name, mobile phone number, photos, and videos.
This data is referred to as “Registration Data”.
This Registration Data is necessary for the execution of the Contest contract you wish to enter into. Failure to provide this data will prevent you from participating.
7.2 Who are the recipients?
CAR2EUROPE, whose contact details are specified in Article 1, is the data controller. The data may be transmitted confidentially to CAR2EUROPE's subcontractors, particularly for the ranking of participants and the awarding of prizes.
7.3 Are your personal data transferred outside the EU?
Your personal data is shared with Facebook (1 Hacker Way Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA), located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), in a country not offering an adequate level of data protection. 7.4 How long is your personal data retained?
Personal data collected and processed by CAR2EUROPE for this Contest will be retained for 2 years.
7.5 What are the Participants' rights?
In accordance with the regulations in force regarding personal data protection, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit processing, obtain a copy of your personal data for your own use or transfer to another service provider of your choice (portability), as well as the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
You can also send CAR2EUROPE instructions regarding the fate of your information after your death.
You can withdraw your consent at any time when processing is based on it. Similarly, under Article L223-2 of the Consumer Code, you can object to being contacted by phone at any time, by registering for free on https://conso.bloctel.fr/.
All these rights apply within the limits provided by the regulations in force regarding personal data protection.

You can also file a complaint with the national data protection authority by sending your request to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, 3 Place de Fontenoy - TSA 80715 - 75334 PARIS CEDEX 07, www.cnil.fr.
Article 8. Copyright and Intellectual Property:
By participating in this Contest, participants transfer to the Organizer all copyright and intellectual property rights on the content submitted as part of the contest.
Article 9. Liability:
Participation via the Internet implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, particularly concerning the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation or hacking and risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the network, technical performance, response times for consulting, querying, or transferring information, risks of interruption, and more generally, risks inherent in any connection and transmission on the Internet.
Thus, CAR2EUROPE cannot be held responsible for any misuse or incident related to the use of the computer, any malfunction of the Internet network, the Contest servers, the telephone line, or any other technical connection preventing the proper conduct of the Contest. In the event of a technical malfunction of the Contest, CAR2EUROPE reserves the right to invalidate and/or cancel the Contest session during which the malfunction occurred. No claim will be accepted in this regard.
Similarly, CAR2EUROPE cannot be held responsible if access to websites linked to the online booking site, which allows participation in the Contest, or to this site itself, proves difficult or impossible for participants.
CAR2EUROPE will not be held responsible if the participant's registration data does not reach it for any reason beyond its control (e.g., an Internet connection problem due to any reason at the user's end, a temporary server failure for any reason, etc.) or arrives illegible or impossible to process (e.g., if the participant has inadequate computer hardware or software environment for their registration, etc.).
Consequently, CAR2EUROPE cannot be held responsible, without this list being exhaustive:
- For the transmission and/or receipt of any data and/or information on the Internet,
- For any malfunction of the Internet network preventing the proper conduct/functioning of the Contest,
- For any failure of any reception equipment or communication lines,
- For the loss of any mail, paper or electronic, and more generally, for the loss of any data,
- For routing problems,
- For the functioning of any software,
- For any technical and material failure having prevented or limited the possibility of participating in the Contest.
More generally, CAR2EUROPE cannot be held responsible in case of force majeure or an unforeseen event beyond its control. It cannot be held responsible, and no recourse can be made against it in the event of force majeure (strikes, bad weather...) depriving participants of the possibility of participating in the Contest and/or the winner(s) of their prize(s).
Similarly, CAR2EUROPE and its service providers and partners cannot be held responsible for any incidents occurring during the use of the prizes, after their delivery to the winners.
